An RFID Tag Can Also Incorporate These Ingenious Ideas!
Nowadays, more and more advanced technologies, processes, and RFID technology innovations are integrated, making an RFID tag diversified, innovative, and green, providing intelligent solutions for various industries. So, which new technologies are integrated with RFID innovations by rfid provider? What new breakthroughs has an RFID tag achieved? Let's explore in depth together!
Shanghai Jiao Tong University Achieves Centimeter-Level Positioning with an RFID Tag
The team led by Jin Meng from the School of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University has made significant breakthroughs in the RFID field. Their research result – high-speed precise RFID spatial clustering technology – innovatively proposes a method of concurrently scanning tags, utilizing signal characteristics to achieve simultaneous multi-target localization. This technology also explores the mutual reflection phenomenon during concurrent transmission of an RFID tag and, for the first time, proposes a mutual reflection channel extraction technology, constructing an RFID relative position spatio-temporal map model based on this.
This technology not only improves the efficiency of concurrent tag reading, significantly increasing large-scale tag scanning speed, but also enhances signal characteristics through the expansion of the channel between tags, achieving centimeter-level precise positioning. The TaGroup can complete relative position estimation of hundreds of tags within 3 seconds. This breakthrough greatly advances the application of RFID technology in large-scale deployment scenarios such as warehousing, logistics, and retail, improving the efficiency of item scanning and tracking and providing new solutions for future large-scale applications.
an RFID Tag Smart Contact Lenses
The RFID smart contact lenses are made by embedding a group of 4 flexible RFID tags into a medical-grade silicone elastomer, using a portable RFID reader to power the RFID tags and measure their generated signals. As the eyes move, the signal changes in a predictable way, which can be translated into gaze direction. This conversion is very precise – with an observed angle accuracy of less than 0.5 degrees.
Currently, RFID smart contact lenses also have certain limitations. The RFID tags are opaque, which to some extent limits vision while using. However, researchers do plan to explore the potential of using high-conductivity transparent electrodes in the future to solve this problem.
"RFID+GIS" Tags Help Fossil Research
The InfraMarker system combines RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology and GIS (Geographic Information System) technology, providing a new solution for fossil management. By installing an RFID tag like hard tags on each fossil, the team can accurately track the position, identity, and storage status of each fossil, while GIS technology provides a visual management method, making the distribution and status of fossils clear at a glance.
Even in remote fossil excavation sites without network connectivity, the detailed information of fossils can be easily recorded, and real-time tracking and auditing can be achieved through cloud data collection. This efficient data management method not only improves work efficiency but also greatly reduces the risk of data loss and errors.
"Prefabricated" RFID Tags
The pharmaceutical industry faces constantly changing market conditions and growing segmentation trends. This requires flexibility and agility to ensure supply security. To support pharmaceutical companies in optimizing their supply chains, the innovative solution "prefabricated"RFID tags can provide complex smart tags in a short time and program the integrated RFID chips for specific orders.
Invengo provides high quality antenna wholesale and RFID tags. These tags are initially produced in bulk as semi-finished products by integrating RFID inlays. When customers make requests, the prefabricated tags are customized through digital printing and delivered in a short time. This allows for the flexible production of complex smart tags and ensures a quick response to customer inquiries.
